Spartan Mambo is super excited to be performing for the Golden State Warriors next week! We will be performing next Tuesday, March 14th for a crowd of 18,000+ during the Warriors halftime show for Latino Heritage Night.

If you have tickets to the show you can catch us live at the Oracle Arena, and we will also be streaming the performance live from our Facebook page. We will be posting a video after our show as well. We hope everyone is able to catch our biggest performance yet!

Spartan Mambo had a great time performing our new routine at the first annual Bay Area Salsa Bachata Festival! We’ll be performing this routine next semester for the Golden State Warriors! See you next year!

The date is set for our Fall 2016 auditions! Auditions this semester will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 10:30am in Multipurpose Room in the Event Center.

We are looking for both men and women to join us for the Fall 2016 & Spring 2017 semesters. We have a lot of exciting events planned this semester, including an intercollegiate event in November, a trip to Cuba in December, and a learning a routine we will be performing for the Golden State Warriors in March!

Spartan Mambo competed at the 2nd annual Collegiate Salsa Open held in L.A. this past weekend, and we won the competition for the 2nd year in a row!

Spartan Mambo competed against top college salsa teams from USC, UCLB, and CSUN to win the title of college salsa champion, as well as $1,500 in prize money!

Thanks to everyone who has supported our team this semester to make this accomplishment possible!

Spartan Mambo was recognized as SJSU’s Club Sport of the Year at the first annual Club Sports Banquet held on Thursday! Thanks to everyone who voted for us and who have supported us this year!

One of our dancers, Pedro Llontop, was also recognized with the Club Sports Sportsmanship Award. Congratulations!

Spartan Mambo just returned from the 9th Annual College Salsa Congress in LA this past weekend, and our team came in 2nd place in the competition!

The competition was super close this year, and we were just 1 point behind the winning team! The performance team also had a good show with a rendition of our 2014 competition piece, Salsa y Sabor!

Thanks to everyone who supported us and helped us reach this point! Wish us luck as we return to LA in 2 weeks to defend our title at the Collegiate Salsa Open!
