Spartan Mambo auditions are coming up soon!
Auditions for the Fall 2013 semester will be held on Saturday, September 7th in the Aerobics Room in the Event Center. The audition will run from 12pm – 2pm. The audition is free, and no partner is necessary.

Spartan Mambo took 2nd place this past Sunday at the 10th Annual Las Vegas Salsa Congress, competing several teams from around the country. The competition was also a qualifier for the 2013 World Latin Dance Cup, which means Spartan Mambo is now qualified to compete at the semi-finals of the WLDC in December! Come cheer us on in Miami!

Check out Spartan Mambo’s performance from the 2013 College Salsa Congress held in Long Beach, California! The competition was really good this year, and the team wowed the crowd and the judges with their energy and exciting Colombian footwork!
Spartan Mambo is debuting our new routine tonight at Salsa Loca Live, held at the University Union Ballroom at Sacramento State University. We will be debuting our brand new routine tonight which we will be performing at the 6th annual College Salsa Congress!
The event starts at 7pm with some salsa lessons, and performances will begin at 9:30pm. The event is completely free to attend. You can find more details about the event on Facebook.

Spartan Mambo has been invited to perform at the 1st annual Santa Rosa Latin Jazz, Music, and Dance Festival! Come support the team on Sunday, February 17th in Santa Rosa!
Auditions for the next season of Spartan Mambo will be announced soon, as we prepare to return to the College Salsa Congress in May! Spartan Mambo took 3rd place in the amateur team competition at the World Salsa Challenge held at the 11th Annual San Francisco International Salsa Congress this past weekend! This is the 3rd time that Spartan Mambo has placed in this prestigious competition, with 3rd place finishes in 2011 and 2010 as well. Congratulations Spartans!
